1909-S Lincoln Cent. V.D.B. MS-65+ RB (PCGS). A wonderfully original, premium quality Gem, this otherwise golden-orange example reveals only a light speckling of iridescent rose-brown to explain the RB designation from PCGS. Closer inspection also calls forth a blush of pale steel-olive at the lower reverse border. Fully struck and highly lustrous, this is an attractive coin to represent the perennially popular 1909-S V.D.B. Lincoln cent. Provenance: Acquired from Bowers and Ruddy Galleries, date not recorded.
