Lot Description

Undated (Circa 1694) London Elephant Token. GOD PRESERVE LONDON. Hodder 2-B, W-12040. Thick Planchet. AU-53 (PCGS). Deep chocolate brown with golden accents around the beast with matching shades on the reverse. Rather well struck by the dies. A couple of ancient planchet flaws are found on the upper obverse, one on the rim, which detract little but are mentioned for accuracy.
