1825 Matron Head Cent. N-2. Rarity-2+. Noyes Die State A. MS-63 RB (PCGS). CAC. A sharply struck cent that retains a good portion of faded mint red, much of which as turned to light tan. Free of all but a few traces of light carbon, and a later die state with extensive rim crumbling on the lower left of the obverse and a faint die crack to the knot on the lower reverse wreath from the rim below. Impressive quality and one of the top coins graded by PCGS with any degree of mint color, furthermore no Red coins of this date have been certified by PCGS.
