Lot Description

Nicholas Jackson Collection. Overton-123, "large 0". Besides a tall zero in the date, the reverse has an additional diagnostic whereby the second "T" in STATES aligns above the right side of the "I" in PLURIBUS below. Almost certainly a Whitman album resident at some point, the obverse has become entire infused with gorgeous sea-green and violet iridescence while the orange-grey obverse features a distinct ring of blazing ocean-blue outside the stars. Delicate pinscratches down the cheek limit the grade.
