Lot Description

1788 Connecticut Copper. Miller 11-G, W-4510. Rarity-2. Mailed Bust Left. AU-55 (PCGS). CAC. Deep golden-brown with some deeper highlights. Glossy and hard surfaces in-hand, with low magnification doing little to dispel the notion. Obverse rim to top of O and through following RI and first C of CONNEC, tight to top of following O, tiny natural planchet flaws, as struck, at point of bust, no other marks of consequence seen, reverse rim through bottoms of date numerals, top of I, tight to tops of ND, some light ticks present though none of any great magnitude, both sides show die clash. Choice for the grade. PCGS# 403.
