Lot Description

1722 Rosa Americana Penny. Martin 3.1-D.6, W-1272. UTILE DULCI. EF-40 (PCGS). 105 grains. This is an excellent EF specimen with even mahogany color across most of the obverse, hints of olive mottling at the borders, and a small area of forest-green patina at the back of the king's head. Deep shades of rose-brown and charcoal-gray adorn the reverse. Mildly worn and free of noteworthy abrasions or planchet problems.
