Lot Description

1869 Silver Three-Cent Piece. Proof-66 (NGC). Well struck and well made, as expected of the issue, the devices are still rather frosty white and are probably just shy of receiving a full cameo designation. The overall surfaces are awash in iridescent cobalt-blue, rose and gold toning on both sides, making this coin ideal for the date collector pursuing a collection of toned Proof Trimes.
