- Lot 318 1852 N-3 R1 NGC graded MS65 Brown.Frosty uniform medium brown with a few tiny peeps of faded mint red on both sides. No spots or stains, just a few tiny contact marks. A light horizontal nick under the right side of the 5 can help identify this cent. Nicely struck but the surfaces are slightly dull thanks to a layer of natural oxidation. Scarce LDS, die state c, with the base of the 1 very thin due to excessive die wear. Our grade is MS60. The attribution and COL Ellsworth Collection provenance are noted on the NGC label.
