Forest Park Collection II. Browning-1, with the obverse clashed. Brassy toning layers each side, helping to tone down what was, at one time, a bright surface. Indeed, the consignor states that this esteemed key date quarter acquired most of its present appearance while resting in his album (see elsewhere within today's offerings). PCGS admirably took the high road and offers a "silent net grade" of VG-10 despite the apparent, fully "fine" details seen throughout, and (appropriately) sees a few hairline scratches and abrasions as in-keeping with early type series. None of the sparse hairlines is particularly distracting, save one that lazily extends into the reverse right field, and it is old and well blended. To use a pun, a "very good" entry into the series at a budget-conscious level.
