1722 Rosa Americana Penny. W-1268, Martin 2-D. URS-8. UTILE DULCI. MS-61 (PCGS). This deeply patinated, olive-copper example reveals glints of slightly lighter tinting in isolated areas over and around the devices. Bold-to-sharp in strike by the standards of the type, and conditionally scarce with neither wear nor detracting blemishes to report. Several scuffs on the front of the PCGS holder are noted.
