1879 Liberty Head Quarter Eagle. MS-64 (PCGS). CAC. Vivid golden-wheat color blankets both sides of this beautiful coin. An underrated issue in the long-lived Liberty Head quarter eagle series, the 1879 is scarcer in Mint State than many later dates of the type with similar, if not lower mintages.
