Lot Description

1760 Hibernia-Voce Populi Halfpenny. Zelinka 15-N, Nelson-12, W-13950. URS-11. P in Front of Face. AU-55 BN (NGC). Found with frequency in lower grades but undeniably scarce at&nbsp;the AU-55 level&nbsp;as here. Chocolate brown surfaces overall with tan accents on the high points. Struck from lightly rusted dies&nbsp;with minor porosity noted, as is characteristic of nearly all survivors of this variety. This specimen will undoubtedly soon enter the welcoming collection of a discerning collector of Colonial coinage.<br />
