Undated (Possibly Circa 1793) Washington Success Medal. Large Size. Baker-265A, W-10905. Rarity-8. Brass. Plain Edge. AU-50 (PCGS). 72.3 grains. Deep olive-gold with a soft golden underglow. Obverse heavily cracked straight across from second G of GEORGE to AS of WASHINGTON. Some reverse striking weakness is noted at the all-seeing eye, a typical occurrence for the type. Struck from a heavily rusted state of the reverse with large areas of raised spalling among the rays in the design. A rare and unusual variety.
