Lot 1159 1853-D. NGC graded AU-55.Mostly well struck although some of the stars and eagle feather are not fully defined. Luster still presenting and lightly toned. A nice coin overall, collected long ago and graded a generation ago perhaps, making it all the more desirable today. We note some residue on areas of the reverse that are probably removable. Housed in an Old Style Holder. Only 89,678 struck (PCGS # 7768) Estimate Value $2,500 - UP
