An OUTSTANDING borderline SUPERB GEM example of the date! What a wonderful 07-S that is VERY HIGH END! Incredible, original, old envelope toning in shades of blue, gold, antique silver, olive, rose, apricot, pink, and tangerine patina graces both sides. The color is classic old envelope toning. Only a touch of striking softness at the inner edge of the eagle's wings are noted. The eye appeal is excellent. PCGS 19, NGC 7, CAC 4. There are 7 listed in MS66+ and just three finer. The last one sold for $6,900 in April 2021 and before that there were two in 2020 at $8,100. The current Collectors Universe value is listed at $9,000. We think this GEM belongs in a SUPERB Barber quarter set and should realize a very strong bid to take it home. Anything finer will cost into the five figures. Cert. Number 42119696 PCGS # 5648.00
