Lot Description

Wonderful auburn and chestnut brown is accented by a bold underlying luster on this GEM large cent. Tinges of salmon-rose cling to the protected recesses of the sharply struck devices, particularly among the stars and letters. The eye appeal is great. PCGS 64, NGC 19, CAC 31. A great type coin, the most recent sold for $2,280 in the 2022 FUN auction.
