Losbeschreibung: 3 graded PR-68 UCAM, 3 higher at NGC. The "ultra cameo" designation barely implies the degree of blistering contrast seen here. Earlier dates routinely saw cameo specimens struck within the Barber series, but a 1910 with cameo represents a veritable treasure for any collector seeking the finest available. A minuscule amount of apricot-gold gathers atop the rims, but the entire surface otherwise shows pristine white-on-black brilliance that defies the passage of well over a century of time. It goes without saying that a powerful loupe can scarcely find any disturbances, as there is simply nothing worthy of mention at the PR-68 UCAM level. Perhaps the barest hint of flimsy, feathery hairlines qualify as grade-determinants.
