- 1802 Draped Bust Silver Dollar. BB-241, B-6. Rarity-1. Narrow Date. EF-45 (NGC).
Boldly defined overall, both sides exhibit intermingled silver-gray highlights to dominant pewter patina. A "naked eye" variety, BB-241 is easily spotted by the missing foot of T in LIBERTY on the obverse. It is also a plentiful die marriage by early dollar standards, which fact confirms the desirability of this coin for high grade circulation type purposes. BB Die State III.
PCGS# 40087.
