The central obverse is brilliant, ringed in a halo of handsome copper-apricot and teal iridescence. The reverse is also peripherally toned, albeit in lighter golden-apricot with blushes of salmon-pink and cobalt-blue at the border. Fully frosted throughout with silky smooth surfaces, this Top-Pop Superb Gem is fit for the finest of Registry Sets. Although unatributed on the holder, the reverse legends show extra thickness in the letters, indicative of die doubling. Worthy of the strongest bids and important for registry set and variety collectors.
