Lot Description: LRCA is proud to offer this arguably FINEST KNOWN example of this popular Hot 50 VAM variety. The remnants of the 9 under the 0 in the date clearly shows under a glass. This is truly a marvelous DMPL! Even the most fastidious of old time DMPL collectors will easily fall in love with the eye appeal and technical quality of this SUPERB GEM. The high quality fields show off a deep reflection, beaming a mirrored image a full 8"+ away. The eye appeal is even more impressive when you combine the sharp, frosty devices that stand in stark contrast with the fields. A glass will reveal a widely scattered tick or two, none of which have an impact on the overall eye appeal. The eye appeal is exceptional in every way. PCGS 3, NGC 0, CAC 1. Clearly there are no accurate pricing guides for this coin. The last time a MS67 DMPL sold in auction was in July 2008, a record from nearly a decade ago that is basically useless.
