- 1832 Capped Bust Quarter. B-2. Rarity-2. MS-63 (NGC). A lustrous specimen with intense lilac, rose, and royal blue iridescence engaging both sides. A sharply struck representative example of the date and design type with great all-around eye appeal and strong physical quality. The typical Capped Bust quarter is a well-circulated VG to Fine or so, and we always enjoy it whenever a pleasing Mint State specimen of any date crosses our auction block. Ideally suited for an advanced early quarter cabinet or type collection.
