- 1857 Braided Hair Half Cent. C-1, the only known dies. Rarity-2. MS-63 RB (PCGS). OGH. A pleasing half cent from the final year of issue, featuring a blend of tan and faded mint hues on the obverse, the reverse is a bit deeper in hue. There are no detracting specks or spots.
