Lot Description

Absolutely one of the finest 1891-S 10C that exists. We can't imagine a more perfect coin! As we said, the surfaces are completely flawless. We used a strong glass and looked forever and found zero imperfections anywhere. The luster is strong and does have a light cartwheel effect. Both sides have even but slightly mottled toning. The colors are pearl gray/golden brown/olive/blue. These are NOT dull or drab colors. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck. The eye appeal is excellent! PCGS 1, NGC 3, CAC 3. PCGS has graded 2 in MS67+ with NONE higher. There are no auction records for any MS67+ ever selling. The current Collectors Universe value is $12,500.
