Lot Description

A wonderful CHOICE AU example of this popular variety housed in an old green tag holder. The slightest trace of highpoint friction is all that keeps this from a Mint State grade. Hints of original luster can be seen surrounding the devices. Warmly toned with pastel accents of blue and rose over rich dove-gray. The eye appeal is great and we are honestly baffled as to why CAC did not bean this example. PCGS 1046, NGC 1399. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $2,400 and the most recent example sold for $2,001 in January 2023.
