A lovely and original example of this popular variety. Rich orange-red color glows with a bold luster across the surfaces. Vivid golden color clings to the peripheries giving depth to the bold visual allure. Oh so close to GEM quality, this is a very high end for the grade example that will delight any Indian Head cent collector. PCGS 32, NGC 8, CAC 4. The most recent example sold over three years ago, realizing $4,320 in the 2018 ANA auction. The current CAC CPG value is $4,380 and the Collectors Universe value is $4,500.
