"1789" Mott Token. Breen-1020. Thick Planchet. Plain Edge. MS-64 BN (NGC). CAC. Attractive chocolate brown throughout with a few traces of mint color around the periphery. The strike is average with central softness on the eagle, common to this later die state where there is a large internal cud that has formed off the upper left of the clock. Most seen from these dies are similar in strike and die state, but few are so well preserved and attractive. A solid representative for the specialist of this popular issue. PCGS# 606.
