FROM THE HANOVER COLLECTION, PART 2. This is the FINEST graded 83-D Doubled Die, which shows the doubling at LIB on the obverse. It is a very rare variety, of which PCGS has graded exactly 7 examples. Brilliant red surfaces show only a few trivial marks and flecks that keep this coin from an even higher grade. PCGS 1, NGC 0.
