This key date issue is scarce in Mint State, especially relative to the demand that such pieces enjoy among advanced numismatists. For most collectors, this handsome AU representative will be more affordable and, hence, more desirable. Somewhat softly struck at the base of Liberty's portrait, yet otherwise boldly defined for the grade. Color is a ruddy rose-brown, the surfaces a bit muted with some underlying glossiness, but free of sizeable blemishes.
