A high grade Cincinnati. Only 5,005 were struck and this one is tied for second highest graded at PCGS, with just two graded higher. Frosty mint luster gleams in the fields, enlivening the smooth surfaces and richness of the rim toning. The eye appeal is very pleasing, and were it not for a tiny tick on Stephen Foster's lip, this coin would have likely CAC'd and perhaps even graded MS67+. PCGS 37, NGC 9. There are just two in MS67+ finer. The most recent PCGS MS67s sold in the $2,160 to $2,640 range. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $3,250.
