1722 Rosa Americana Halfpenny. Martin 3.9-C.4, W-1222. Rarity-5. DEI GRATIA REX UTILE DULCI. EF-45 (PCGS). 75.9 grains. Light brown and reasonably smooth with minor areas of planchet porosity found when closely examined. The strike is crisp. A couple of ancient scratches are found below the legends.
