Lot Description

A satiny, warmly toned example dressed in blended pewter gray, pale pink, champagne-gold and powder blue patina. Scarcer than the 1875-S in all grades, the 1875-CC is of further desirability as the only collectible Carson City Mint issue in the brief twenty-cent series of 1875 to 1878. Premium Select Mint State examples such as this are very scarce in today's market, as limited CAC approval rates confirm.
