1785 Nova Constellatio Copper. CONSTELLATIO. Crosby 3-B, W-1895. Pointed Rays. MS-62 BN (PCGS). CAC. A gorgeous red-brown example with scattered die rust (typical of the variety) and a couple of sizeable die cracks extending from the rim above N in NOVA, one of which continues diagonally down about halfway into the field below. The astonishingly well preserved surfaces are free of post-striking blemishes. Very PQ for the type, and worthy of a strong bid. PCGS# 813.
