Lot Description

1852 Liberty Half Eagle. MS-62 (NGC). Frosty luster. Olive-gold toning overall with wisps and blushes of blended apricot and violet iridescence. A touch of softness can be seen at the eagle's neck feathers and the tresses by Liberty's temple, but most other design features are sharp including the obverse stars all of which show their divisions. NGC has certified just a few dozen examples as MS-62 or finer over the years.
