1851 Silver Three-Cent Piece. MS-66+ (PCGS). CAC. Soft greenish-gold color deepens to charcoal at the obverse border, the reverse is much lighter with just hints of golden color. This is a beautiful Premium Gem, frosty and smooth with a well executed strike. Perennially popular for type purposes, the 1851 is the premier Philadelphia Mint issue in the silver three-cent series.
