Losbeschreibung: When we saw our first Tail Bar DMPL's, it was about 20 years ago. Dwight Manley-then the founder of Spectrum offered us 4 MS63's and a 64. We were stupid and picky, as they were incredible coins. For whatever reason, REAL DMPL Tail Bars are something we never see any more. So, it was a pleasure to accept this coin for this sale. This coin is actually high end. Bold deep mirrors beam from all over. They do have good clarity but are dusted by a light layer of original gold. The flash is tremendous. A few tiny scattered ticks are visible-NOTHING is serious. Miss Liberty and every detail are sharply struck and do standout. This is a very nice DMPL. The eye appeal is really strong! PCGS 2, NGC 0, CAC 2. The last one to sell in auction brought $3,819 in September 2014. In case you need help w/the math-that is 3 LONG years ago! The current Collectors Universe Value is $4,250.
