1819 Matron Head Cent. N-9. Rarity-1. Small Date. MS-63 RB (PCGS). CAC. A lustrous example painted in uniform pinkish tones courtesy of faded Mint-red luster. The highest points show smooth chocolate-brown color and an area of deep olive patina is noted to the right of T in CENT. The surfaces are overall smooth and without notable imperfections, though inspection reveals a few old marks below stars 6 and 7 that have long integrated into the complexion. A radiant and attractive example of this Randall Hoard variety. Noyes Die State B/B. Provenance: From the Paradise Collection.
