1855 Pattern Flying Eagle Cent. Judd-167, Pollock-193. Rarity-5. Copper. Plain Edge. MS-64 BN (NGC). Large eagle flying left, 13 stars around, date below, reverse with small continuous wreath at center, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA around, ONE / CENT within. Deep golden brown with lighter areas throughout, small toning spot on eagle's tail. A popular pattern with collectors of Flying Eagle cents and, to a lesser degree, Indian cents.
