1818/7 Capped Bust Half Dollar. O-101a. Rarity-1. Large 8. AU-58 (PCGS). A popular, early overdate in the Capped Bust half dollar series at a highly desirable certified grade level. This is a virtually brilliant coin, toning light and confined to iridescent champagne-gold here and there at the borders. Plenty of frosty mint luster remains, the strike sharply executed throughout.
