This coin was featured on the front cover of Coinage magazine's July 2023 cover! The article highlighted collecting Silver Commems. We fully agree that this coin is an MS66+! It is a totally outstanding GEM. \n\nIf you ever dreamed about a near flawless Lafayette-this is your coin! Satiny fields have NO marks. We used a strong glass and looked all over. The luster is impressive. Both sides are covered by an even light to moderate layer of original pewter/pale green/gold toning. This is NO T a dull or drab coin. All of the details are sharply struck and stand out. The eye appeal is super! PCGS 88, NGC 66, CAC 27. PCGS has graded 22 in MS66+.
