1830 N-4 R2 Large Letters PCGS graded MS61 Brown.Frosty light olive and steel. The only mark is a small splash of darker olive brown toning (not carbon) between star 12 and the dentils. The fields are covered with satiny luster and this cent look mint state, but there is a touch of friction on the highest points. MDS with die cracks on both sides including one up from the E in UNITED to the dentils, but the sunken retained cud break sometimes seen under the date has not started to form. There are traces of a double profile on the nose, chin, and neck. Called AU50 Choice by Noyes, his photo #37445. Our grade is AU50.The attribution and Twin Leaf Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. Estimate Value $650 - UP
