1788 Massachusetts Cent. Ryder 12-M, W-6350. Rarity-4-. Stout Indian, Period After MASSACHUSETTS. VF-30 (PCGS). A satiny and generally tight example with only wispy planchet pits in the center of the obverse and near the lower border on that side. A few minor edge bruises are noted, but there are no other marks of consequence. Boldly defined overall and pleasingly original, streaks of olive-brown enliven a base of warm autumn-brown patina on both sides of this handsome mid grade example.
