1952-S Washington Quarter. MS-68 (PCGS). CAC. Peripheral toning in reddish-orange, steel-blue and salmon-pink is bolder and more varied on the reverse.. Central toning on both sides is softer with powder blue on the obverse, champagne-pink on the reverse. Billowy mint frost blankets surfaces that are at the threshold of numismatic perfection. As attractive as one is ever likely to encounter in a 1952-S Washington quarter, and worthy of the strongest bids. Mintage: 13,707,800 pieces.
