The final year of this odd denomination was also a PROOF ONLY year, and only 600 were struck. This is an AMAZING quality and gorgeous SUPERB GEM. A bold watery reflective mirrored brilliance in the fields. When the light catches the surfaces just right, the blues, oranges, roses, and violets really pop. The devices are razor sharp and the surfaces are exquisitely preserved and pristine. The eye appeal is amazing. Only 600 Proofs were struck. PCGS 4, NGC 8. The most recent example sold for $6,000 in August 2022 and before that, one sold for $7,500 in October 2020. Today the Collectors Universe value is listed at $17,500.
