- 1854 Gold Dollar. Type I. MS-65 (NGC). This conditionally scarce Gem is seemingly earmarked for inclusion in a high-grade type set of final-year issue. A sharply impressed Type I Gold Dollar, both sides also possess a soft, satiny sheen and warm, rose-orange color. Outwardly distracting abrasions are virtually absent.
