Lot Description

1865 Seated Liberty Dime. VF-25 (PCGS). CAC. With just 10,000 coins struck, the business strike 1865 is an understandably scarce Seated Dime in both circulated and Mint State grades. This is an original VF with dove-gray patina that lightens to more of a silver-gray shade toward the center of the reverse. Quite smooth for the assigned grade, with moderate, yet even wear that leaves plenty of bolder definition in the more protected areas of the design.
