Lot Description

1837 Capped Bust Dime. JR-4. Rarity-1. MS-64 (PCGS). This 1837 dime exhibits strong eye appeal, with russet-gold toning throughout and lustrous fields peeking through. The strike is sharp on Liberty's curls and the surrounding stars, as well as on the eagle's feathers and talons. The obverse has the usual bisecting die crack and another is seen to the rim through the R of AMERICA. Pleasing surfaces with minimal handling marks.
