- 1787 Fugio Copper. Pointed Rays. Newman 8-B, W-6740. Rarity-3. UNITED STATES, 4 Cinquefoils. AU-50 (PCGS). 161.0 grains. An impressive Near Mint survivor sporting a strong, well centered strike. Boldly defined detail throughout save for modest strike weakness at the lower left obverse border and opposing reverse. Deep reddish-brown surfaces that are well preserved and free from marks, roughness, and planchet flaws. Both sides retain subtle traces of mint frost.
