Lot Description

1851-O Liberty Head Double Eagle. Winter-1. VF-30 (PCGS). While produced in large numbers, the 1851-O double eagle circulated extensively with relatively few having survived in high grades. Green-gold patina with deep reddish-russet undertones on the reverse reside on this Choice VF specimen. The design elements are sharp but show considerable wear.
