Blushes and streaks of powder-blue and reddish-apricot iridescence decorate smooth, frosty surfaces. Impressively sharp in strike and expertly preserved, it is little wonder that this coin ranks among the finest for the issue known to PCGS. Due to the emergence of hundreds of thousands of coins from the Philadelphia Mint during the period of several months beginning in October 1962, the 1902-O is a plentiful Morgan dollar issue in terms of total number of Mint State examples known. Rare in the highest grades, nonetheless, this low pop MS-67 would do equally well in a high quality type set or advanced collection on the PCGS Set Registry.<p>
