This is a VERY HIGH-END 1810 half dollar! Iridescent toning deepens to the rims, the color brought out by a vibrant and strong original mint luster. Very crisply struck devices are not what is usually encountered for this variety. Struck from a later state of the dies with multiple obverse die cracks. Only the slightest touch of friction on the highest points. PCGS 101, NGC 54, CAC 26. Most PCGS-graded coins have sold in the $2,233 to $3,630. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $2,850.
